Asphalt 8: Airborne launching August 22

Asphalt 8: Airborne launching August 22

Dev offering the chance to win pre-launch download codes for Nexus 7-optimized racer

Asphalt 8 is one of the new Android titles optimized for OpenGL ES 3.0, the new 3D graphics standard included in Android 4.3. The title promises 180 events, 47 licensed cars and social integration, including  Facebook support.
First unveiled at Google's Nexus 7 and Android 4.3 event in San Francisco a few weeks back, Gameloft's Asphalt 8: Airborne was due to be released back on Aug. 8. Obviously that didn't happen, however there's now a new release date on the cards — next Thursday, Aug 22.
But if you can't wait that long, Gameloft is giving away a pre-launch code to one lucky winner, who'll be able to play the game before anyone else. To enter, you'll need to subscribe to the developer's YouTube channel and fill out the form on its website.

How to Make an Invisible File?

How to Make an Invisible File?

Here is a article on How to make a Hidden file on your computer (Windows Operating Systems Only). This is useful when you're using a computer that many other people use. e.g Family and friends. With these steps, the file is invisible because we are not hiding it, we are just give it a transparent icon and a space at its name, but someone can select it if they know where it is in desktop or any folder.

  • Right Click - New - Folder, and a new folder will be created in that directory.
  • Customize the folder if you want toDon't rename it just yet. Right Click the New Folder, go to Properties, then to Customize, and then click Change Icon. Here is the trick, go to the middle and you should see some blank spaces. Those are transparent icons, select one of those then press OK -> Apply -> OK.

  • Name your folder. Press rename and instead of the file press ALT+0160 (Remember to keep the ALT button pressed down while typing the numbers). ALT+0160 makes a space that is not the same as a normal space.
  • You should have finished your new invisible file, Congratulations.
  • For it to work on your laptop you need to keep Holding down the Alt key you will also need to hold the FN key and type the numbers "0160." These are over the letters m, j, o, m. Let go of all of the keys and hit enter. Holding the Alt and typing those numbers will name the folder as a space, pretty much giving it no name.
  • Note: Make sure the Num Lock on the laptop is selected.

Samsung Gear smart watch...

Samsung Gear smart watch...

Smartphones to smartwatch

Samsung Gear smartwatch to launch along Note 3, report claims!

Without specifying any sources, Sam Mobile just “confirmed” that Samsung Gear will be launched on September 4 at the Unpacked 2 press event in Berlin. The device will supposedly bear the SM-V700 designation. Details on its appearance and features are scarce for now, but the device will reportedly work in tandem with the Note 3.

What is Samsung Gear? It’s a smartwatch, a wearable computer that will supposedly connect and work with Samsung smartphones. A design patent that Samsung filed in South Korea last month potentially gives us a good idea of what the Gear looks like. Based on these schematics, some creative folks created the renders you can see at the top of this post.

Will Samsung be the first major player to market a wearable device? Chances for that are pretty good.

Nexus 10 coming up?

Samsung and Google working on new Nexus 10?

The new Nexus 7 may be the Google tablet that is currently making the headlines all over the world, but it seems the company hasn’t forgotten about the not-so-successful Nexus 10 yet, as Sundar Pichai told WSJ reporter Amir Efrati that they are working with Samsung on a new Nexus 10.
Naturally, Pichai wasn’t forthcoming with any more details other than the fact that the device is in the works. Except for a newer version of Android, there’s pretty much nothing that would need upgrading in the Nexus 10 (though Samsung could put the new octa-core Exynos on it), so it could be that this newer Nexus 10 is simply the current model but with 3G/LTE connectivity, something which a lot of people have been waiting for.

It could also be used to debut Android 5.0 which is expected to be unveiled in October, just in time for the anniversary of the original 10-inch Nexus. As always, we’ll wait for further details to emerge and let you know accordingly.
